Jeff Hull
Eulogy from Region 67 - Chino

A new star is born.
In memory of Jeff Hull
AYSO, Section 1, Director

In a world full of anguish and trouble, Jeff Hull was a calming influence with his serene and blissful smile.

Jeff, a man for all seasons, has taught us over the years to deal with problems by putting them in perspective. No task was too big or too complicated. Every problem had a solution he used to say. He was decisive yet kind in his decisions. Firm yet caring. Objective yet flexible.

His broad smile as well as his imposing personality told the whole story about this cheerful man. He never complained or talked about his pain when others would have succumbed under the weight of pain. A big man with a huge heart full of love and caring.

The big AYSO family did not lose a friend as the story usually goes…

When AYSO realized that they have conquered the world, they decided to send a representative to a new frontier called heaven. Jeff had heard they had some troubles organizing a soccer league up there. So God extended a peaceful hand and asked Jeff if he could help.

So Jeff, being the caring, loving, able and selfless soccer fan that he was (is) reflected. "Who am I to question God’s request." and replied with an RSVP "one will be attending."

They are the lucky ones and we are at a huge loss. Jeff has moved on to a bigger league where there is no pain or suffering. Come to think of it, where there are no referees or coaches to tangle with either. It sounded quite appealing and tempting.

Jeff is now dwelling in our Lord’s palace where he'll feast with the angels and manage soccer for all of eternity. Trust me if I tell you that was his dream and God has granted him his wishes.

We will remember Jeff throughout the soccer season. In "layman terms," that means he’ll be remembered in the fall, winter, spring and summer. All year round because guess what folks, we don’t stop.

The soccer sport is timeless, ageless and colorblind.

We can never forget Jeff even if we tried. He's with us at the meetings. At the conferences, at the soccer fields, shaking hands, joking and smiling at us with his trade mark smile that really lit a room, it actually lit the whole skies.

So now that Jeff has scored the golden goal, we say so long to Jeff. Knowing fully well we will meet at the tournament of saints where character, honesty, and faith are masters.

Our faith in God is forever stronger .we are ever grateful we have shared some wonderful memories with this wonderful man. May God bless you all. Rest in Peace our dear brother. We will always love you Jeff.
